In accordance with its Article 25.2, the Convention will enter into force for Nicaragua three months after the date of deposit of the instrument of accession, that is, on 10 August 2000. Accession by Nicaragua brings to sixty-four the total number of States that have deposited an instrument of ratification or acceptance of, or accession to, the above-mentioned Convention.
